White lines blur in the black highway night

Ridin' with the wind in my hair

Throw my arms open to the thunderin' sky

Tryin' to forget that I care.

Then you do what you like

Even though I might cry

Today I only see what I want to see

Shout my poetry into the air

I just want to climb in the mulberry trees

Something wild has been broken

By simple words you have spoken

Making me look back at me

Seeing the faults that you see.

Then you spin me with lies
